| Letter Sent to Management Over Changes Needed in New Vacation Policy. |
On February 24th, an email was sent out from management announcing a change in
the policy concerning the date employees can submit a vacation bid form. The date
was moved up from after the shift bid process in May to March 1st. While this was an
improvement, it failed to address several other concerns employees have with the
vacation policy. So, members of BonitoCenterUnion.org affected by this policy
change got together and wrote a letter to management addressing those concerns
offering their ideas on how to fix them. It was requested that management consider
these ideas and draft a new policy based on these suggestions. They also asked
management present it to employees for input before the new policy is implemented.
